afternoon and evening. they are gone now. a few light showers in ohio and west virginia but around here generally clear. we could see 30s or 40s here. 60s and 70s across the board. 73 national. dew point in the 60s and a light wind out of the north at three miles an hour. nationally, we have some showers out in the rockies in the southwest. this moisture is feeding in to a developing storm system in the northern plains and once again rough weather ahead of this. showers and storms through wisconsin approaching chicago later on and could cause flight delays an that's a popular spot for folks to go through. the front operating milder air from the warm hot air will be lifting north of us. other than a possibility of a couple of storms this afternoon, we should have a lot less action than yesterday and then this front, this is coming on friday in to saturday morning. this will be our savior. cool us back down to the 80s on saturday an 70s on sunday. our seven-day forecast, 92 today. 94 tomorrow. isolated storm today. and look at this, monday, tuesday, wednesday, upper 70s to low 80s wi

. as usual the bulk of it in northern virginia at this point. we'll head on over. here we are at 95 southbound as we make the trip from newington on down. construction takes away the right lane. but if you look very carefully, you can see the hov lanes are configured for the southbound flow. that should help alleviate the delays getting to this point at the work zone. obviously, it is still going to be slow. let's head on over another stretch of the beltway. on the inner loop of the beltway from springfield up towards i-66, very slow through the work zone. in addition, there had been a broken downehicle in the roadway. that has been moved ov to the shoulder. so right now it's just the work zone, but the broken down car has been cleared. we'll keep you updated. eun? >> thank you so much, jerry. >>> well, you may want to avoid parts of t street in northwest washington right now. crews are working to repair a broken water main in the 1300 block of t street. the street is closed between 13th streets and 14th streets. it's not clear when it will be fixed or when the street will be reopen

closing a stretch of marlboro pike. pennsylvania avenue the best way to get around that. virginia northbound i-95 from the patomic mills side. here in springfield it's heavy but without delay heading up towards landmark. we do have slowing up towards -- >> more now on that breaking news from prince george's county. three people are dead after an ambulance and s.u.v. collide. investigators say the s.u.v. was going the wrong way. along the vest gating. the vehicles still up here on marlboro pike. we do know an ambulance was responding to a call when they were heading down marlboro pike. that s.u.v. was coming in the wrong direction. this was a head jan collision but according to fire and ems and what they have been able to gleam, the ambulance swerved out of the way, the s.u.v. side swiped the ambulance ultimately causing the s.u.v. to roll over. it hit a brick wall and utility pole. the three men in the s.u.v. were pronounced dead at the scene. the two men in the ambulance got out to check out the men in the s.u.v. they are now out of the hospital, they are back at the fire house.
